Outdoor ceremonies, photos or drinks
Our wedding lawn offers a truly beautiful backdrop for any part of your wedding day, with sweeping views across the Cotswolds. Framed by scented rose bushes and a lush green hedge, it keeps your guests gathered comfortably in one place, while still providing ample space for up to 150 guests.
Outdoor ceremonies are possible on the lawn, but must be pre-arranged with the registrars if you are planning a legal ceremony. Additional external furniture is required for this setup, and we would be delighted to talk you through the options when you visit Merriscourt in person.
If you choose to hold your ceremony in our gorgeous Stone Barn, the lawn remains an ideal setting for your drinks reception, photographs, or even lawn games—whether hired in or brought along by you.
This wonderfully versatile space is always a favourite, and - weather permitting - we love to make sure it features in your wedding day at least once. It is simply, and effortlessly, stunning.
