It is the moment you have waited for. You stand there in your wedding attire, the nerves are through the roof. The music begins to play and the curtains are pulled back. Here begins your new chapter in The Stone barn at Merriscourt; the perfect backdrop for your ceremony.

Merriscourt is fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies & Partnerships and these are often conducted in The Stone Barn. With the high beamed ceilings, stunning Cotswold stone floor and seating for up to 150 guests, this Cotswold wedding barn is ready for your promises.

You can make The Stone Barn as magical as you wish with many decor items already included in your venue hire, including a statement silk floral arrangement on the top window ledge to create the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. Couples love to add live music such as a string quartet or harpist, or adding flowers to line aisle which can then be moved into The White Barn and used on your tables to make the most of the beauty of the spaces.

Merriscourt is now also licensed for outdoor ceremonies, so please don't hesitate to ask the Events Team more on your visit for more information on these outdoor spaces.

Canapes and confetti will follow through in either the Courtyard, The Gallery and or the wedding lawn with the wedding breakfast being set in The White Barn.

We would love to welcome you for a visit to see for yourself just how perfect this Cotswold wedding barn really is. We can assure you, you will not be disappointed.

Now all the formalities are out of the way, it is time for the party to really begin!

The Merriscourt Bar exclusively opens from the end of the wedding breakfast, until the end of the night.

With a large selection of gin, rum, beer & cocktails there is something for everyone!

The Stone Barn transforms from your idyllic ceremony barn into the dancefloor, with not only a disco ball but easy access to the bar, just off the side. You are free to choose whichever DJ/Band you like (though of course we have our favourites whom you can find on our recommended supplier list)!

To help fuel the party we also offer evening food, from pizzas to bacon butties! We circulate this around the venue to ensure that all your guests get the opportunity to try some, without needing to stop the party.
