We would be more than happy to show you around and get you excited about Merriscourt. We can discuss date availability and give you a good idea of timings.

Is catering included in the wedding package

Yes, our Michelin-trained chef offers bespoke menus tailored to your preferences.

Do you have a list of local taxis for our guests?

We do, please just contact the Events Team and they would be more than happy to send you a copy.

Do you allow dogs onsite?

Your furry four-legged friends are more than welcome onsite for your ceremony & drinks reception. However, we ask that they are taken from site as you sit down for the wedding breakfast so as to limit the teasing and chaos!
Dogs are not permitted to stay in any of our onsite accommodation.
We have a couple of recommended dog chaperone services to help you with organising on the day if you would like.

Is there Wi-Fi available at the venue?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue and accommodation.

Are you accessible for wheelchair users?

Merriscourt is accessible for wheelchair users, with the use of our removable ramps. Our accommodation also has some good access, but if a guest requires additional assistance, please enquire separately and also let your Event Manager know. We do not have a lift.

Do you have a microphone & PA system?

We have a full speaker system in The White Barn and Stone Barn which links to our wireless microphones

Do you take cash at the bar?

We now have a fully cashless bar, accepting cards & contactless payments only.

What is Merriscourt’s guest capacity?

We can accommodate up to 150 seated guests and 200 for evening receptions across our three interlinked barns.

Can we book Merriscourt for exclusive use?

Yes, all weddings at Merriscourt are exclusive-use, giving you full access to the venue and grounds for the duration of your celebration.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for summer weekends, which fill up quickly.

Is there a minimum guest requirement?

No minimum guest count is required — we welcome intimate weddings as well as larger celebrations.

What’s included in the venue hire?

Venue hire includes access to the barns, courtyard, gallery, bridal suite, on-site accommodation, and dedicated wedding coordination along with all furniture and tableware.

Do you offer on-site accommodation?

Yes, we have beautifully appointed rooms for up to 35 guests, including a bridal suite and cottages.
